Hi, Im from Mexico this is my Tiida!

Hello everyone, Im Rod from Mexico I'm very happy because Finally found a Tiida/Versa forum! This is mine, a Tiida Sedan. Regards to all and here I will posting constantly, I wait for your opinions it brings over of my car.

Thanks for posting the photos. This is the color of my Versa Hatch, and we love it. The sedan is much prettier in this color than the black I saw at the dealership.

Is it just me... or is the Mexican Tiida just a Versa with the Tiida badge? Kinda makes sense given that the Versa is made in Mexico.

It's actually the Tiida sedan. As absurd as this sounds, they would have to be built in Japan, and imported in to Mexico. There's a good chance that Nissan never anticipated the Tiida to be available in Mexico/Central/South America. If they did, it would make sense that they would authorize the Mexican plants to build the Tiida and ship to the countries below.

the TIIDA was available first at Central/South America than in the US and it comes from Japan. The car I'm seeing here is a Versa with a TIIDA badge, maybe because it is made in Mexico but because of the language they prefered to use the name TIIDA instead of VERSA.

Your comments are full of reason This is a Versa, but here nissan choose to name "Tiida" Because Chrysler have a model called Verna and could be a little confusion haha, that was the full history of the name "tiida" for Mexico, and the engine is the MR18DE. Regards!

BTW: There's no Japanese Tiidas here in Mexico, all are made here in The state of Aguascalientes. :-D

No tiene bolsas de aire, no abs, no vidrios electricos y demas... Los impuestos aqui en mexico son una groseria por lo cual tener un auto seguro es un "lujo"...

As polkpe said in Spanish...his VERSA doesn't have airbags, p/w or abs...in Mexico taxes are very high...

Si, hablo Español...me parece que nunca entendere a los fabricantes...si haces un carro para EEUU que mas da hacerlo igual para el mismo pais que lo fabrica, en este caso Mexico...Por que usar guardafangos y lamparas de TIIDA...no entendi...de todas formas, las refacciones despues de 5 años van a ser hechas en Mexico...al igual que la mayoria de las refacciones de lo demas modelos Nissan...Saludos...

haha thank you, yea I like that color too, would have been my 2nd choice. I wish I could get my hands on a set of the side marker signals though! Springs are going to look great, I am hoping to get mine soon, and the other rims I was going to buy are going to get sold, AGAIN! 2nd set I buy and sell right away because I get them used dirt cheap and sell em for more lol.

let me check the next time that goes with my dealer, I dont think the tiida badge pass the 10 bucks, but the lightning is gonna be a little difficult to find because the parts are imported from japan by now. But as soon as I know all the info I post here
