Just had all four of my wisdom teeth ripped out. I wish I hadn't waited so long to do it.

It might just be the painkillers, but I feel great.

Also, I spent an hour pour through Napa's radiator hoses to find the silly hose from the filler neck to the water pump on my Z31. Worst hose ever.

hahah I had mine out recently.

Evidently I was damn sure that if I got running fast enough, I could fly. And anyone that told me otherwise was an ***hole.

my best drug experience was being completely out for a camera swallow to check for a hiatal hernia. I was a crazy mofo for about half a day according to my wife, I remember nothing

When I had my wisdom teeth removed, we discovered that I am REALLY sensitive to certain anesthesia. A WEEK after the surgery, I was still fubarred. I couldn't drive and stairs were still a helluva challenge. We'd honestly thought that I might have had a stroke. Turns out, I'm just really super sensitive to the drugs they gave me; most notably, Demerol.

Demerol killed my oldest son in the hospital after a procedure when he was about 3 years old, God through a very skilled code team were able to bring him back. Seriously, my wife and I were sitting there watching him sleep after a procedure and he started breathing slow and then stopped and turned blue. I flew to the nurses station it was about 30 feet I did it in 4 steps yelling for code the entire time.

Holy crap dude!

I know a helicopter nurse that sees a lot of bad stuff. She brings people back all the time and has some really good stories. Super cool chick.

My wife is an MD and she was pretty freaked out. They didnt' come as quickly as I made it back to the room and I started to bag him myself... my wife stopped me and said we have to let them do it the code team arrived while we were arguing about me doing it. He was 3 and received 2 adult doses of Demerol once in the OR and once in recovery?

Its crazy, my wife saved a guy at Avanti (Italian joint in PHX) who was having a heart attack at the table next to ours while we were on a date once. She saved a lady at her practice today. Life is so fragile and temporary... thats why I drive so fast and don't pay attention to gas mileage or tires. Also a good reason for you to rescue little bandit from the pawn shop.

I"m allergic to Demerol. When they gave it to me for my first back surgery, I felt like my blood was burning. I've since been told by a doctor that it is no longer used. It doesn't seem like people had a lot of luck with it.

They gave it to me when I was in labor with my daughter and it knocked me out. Completely. To this day, I have zero memory of her being born.

Probably true for both of you, so I suppose it works out well.
