Howdy! I'm "Greystroke" . I've had several Nissan in my time but now only have 1, a 1985 Nissan Pulsar GL with the E15 OHC engine & 5 speed box. I had an earlier Datsun Pulsar once (with the A series motor & front flipping bonnet) but it was stolen. I've also had 2 Nissan 1400 bakkies (pick-ups). One had to be scrapped as it was too badly rusted & falling apart. My last 1400 was stolen about 6 months after I bought it (after it had been resprayed & certified roadworthy ) I'm a retired firefighter & always tried to everything myself or find out how to.

Whereabouts are you? Seems like a rough neighborhood with multiple thefts. "Bonnet" make me think you may be right hand driving maybe?

My buddy is into those Mid-80s cars. Lots of us here like to do the work ourselves when it comes to cars. You'll fit right in.
