Hi I'm new here and couldnt find what I need but not positive...

If its been asked so if it has I'm sorry for asking again ...I have a nissan sentra 99 4 door 1.6 and need to know the best and easiest way to change the alternator I have the new one but cant figure out if its easier to change from top or bottom ...Any advice you all have will be very very much appreciated!!

well i would imagine it would be easier to do from the bottom. but i mean it depends on how comfortable it is for you. honestly, remove the tensioner and belt from the top, and the bracket bolts at the bottom. if you can get to all that at the top, go for it. otherwise, do what you feel is most comfortable.
