hi guys!!! im from tampa fl. I own a 2015 infiniti q70s 5.6 with 33 thousand miles now. its white pearl with all the option and accessories available for it. I bought it with almost 20 thousand miles. next month im turning a year with the car and I love it, even tho I been having issues since I took it home the very first day.
to make my story a little short I been having issues with brake noises, brake pedal noises, windows noise when going up or down, wheels noises, sluggish at times, some kind of hard shifting sometimes driving it on normal mode, dca light flashing ,sonar malfunction , sensors on bumper issues, sunroof raddling, a/c compressor humming noise, and of couse dealership messing things up that I have to keep back and forth takimg it back to dealership. took like a week to take it home after I sign the papers as a new owner.. I believe took long because I was very picky when I saw the car in the showrrom and before I sign up papers I make sure they were taking care aof a few things before I was taking it home, like cratches on spoiler and wheels and bumper , crack on the windshield, little dirty inside no tinted windows and rotors looking worn out... had to bring it back like a week or 2 later because the sales rep that took care of me try to play me and said the winshield was save to keep it and I went off on him cause I was not keeping a car this spensive @ 46,500 without tax with a bad windshield and few of the other stuff I mention that he never took care of... for this whole year almost with car I cant say they haven't take care of things cause they actually did but is like something new every time I take it there infiniti of Orlando. I believe they see the devil every time I walk in . but I believe is my right to get the car fix the proper way specially when im paying so much for a use car with a cpo warranty

brake pedal noise stated by them was the brake booster that they stated replace it twice
brake noise outside stated was rotors that they been resurfing for like 4 times to end up charging me with new brake pads.
sunroof raddle after 3 times of taking it back with same issue and replacing even the sun visors the insulated with I don't know what that noise raddle stoped. finally!
replace sonars and sensor after many time taking it back because while driving car stated that objects were in the front or back of car. was very annoying.
car use to have a noise at start up like a chain or like a engine pinging like when u use cheap fuel that they fixed but they never said what they did to it. what I know they charge me for an induction air way cleaning maybe that took care of problem.
they changed a wheel stating was bend and also replace a front wheel bearing with full tire balancing
replace a fog light that stopped working
replace a/c compressor because of the humming sound. but unfortunately the noise humming is there again.
they also replace both air filter boxes because they clips were broken, and also replace engine cover because it was crack.
also replace driver seat rails or track because the seat had a free play.
they also did the supposedly recall for infiniti conecction that I ended up paying for some crap that I still don't understand or get it yet but for that recall you have to pay

so now few days ago I went tthere again to pick up my baby cause of the sonar and brake issues again
they ende up scatching the bumper while they were removinf those bumper sensors front and back plus another scratch on the fender and trunk, again this guy went off on them cause im gonna have to drive to Orlando again for like the 10 time so they can fix what the mechanic did bad for not taking the time by removing those sensor with care ... they know I, picky and a car enthusiast and I pay attention for every detail lol they actually thought I was gonna get in car and walk away like nothing after paying them another big amount of money for the last stupis ervice they were recommending ........its been kinda rought specially buying a car that look this nice and is this spensive but taking it back and forth to orlandodealership for issues its been a pain in my butt. infiniti of tampa is not woth it for me even tho is local cause when I firt started t have issues they didn't want to help me because the car was bought in Orlando and they wanted me to take it back there. so I keep taking it to where I bought it from..

I been so close to take this far and complain to infiniti Nissan of north America or anyother place so I can be oriented about this type of issue but I haven't.. still love my car and everybody complement me and say nice things when they see the car... just deside it to post this here see what u guys think and what other problem u guys might have or had with the Q70...... btw I just took it on a road trip to new York city from tampa and it was awesome . and the gas mileage up to 28 on highway! :mike

Welcome to the forum.

I definitely suggest a new dealer...maybe in North Port or further and not necessarily Orlando?

I would definitely complain to Infiniti corporate as well. Do you have receipts for all of the work, etc. just in case? It should be in the system anyway but better to keep track of everything.

hi Ilya thank you. I tried my local one in tampa and they said was better for me to bring it back to where I bought and they started complaining and having me go back and forth with Orlando and tampa infiniti, cause they didn't want to fix brakes there cause I didn't nuy the car there, so I was like im not gonna go back and forth again so I kept bringing it to oarlando an hr and half away and many mile in car now for the many times I brought in for service.. and yes I have all the papers and complaints with the car... I just cant believe a car that cost 76,000 thousand dollar could have many issues after 2 years of been on the streets..... btw I come from lexus family and never had this issues before it sucks I still own a lexus gs430 with like 300,000 thousand miles still running good and never this issues with the car even tho has all this many miles

Does the car have an Infiniti warranty still? If it does, then tell Tampa to suck it up and work on the car or deal with corporate. They can't refuse service for warranty repairs just cause you didn't buy it from them.

yes it does have the cpo warranty.. I did told Tampa Infiniti that they were supposed to cover my car under warranty because its a cpo vehicle and they still made me go back to Orlando.... that's hen I told them what about if I move to Alaska ? im gonna have to bring or send them vehicle from there to get service and warranty? they just change the subject and kept talking about other crap.. this situation have me frustrated.. now I need to bring the car back next week because the f*** up the paint on my bumpers when they were changing those sensors on the bumper. they actually though I was gonna get in car and drive away without inspecting my car me knowing how much the car cost I wasn't,,plus im picky and they also know how I am .. I always do a walk around before and after ... this people sucks,, can u believe they have kept my car with a full tank of gas and return it to me empty.. they have balls!! but I make them put gas all they way full again.. I keep track of mileages and everything.. I don't trust them anymore.. this people last thing they did they repainted my back bumper thinking they scrape it when they had notes saying they damage my front pass fender,, from a fender they repainted the rear bumper.. im of course me I bend down rear of my car to check what they did and the spray paint on my exhaust that's cost me over 800$$.sucks cause whoever the jobs always f*** something up

At this point I would call Infiniti corporate and then provide Infiniti Tampa with the complaint number or whatever and tell them if this continues to happen (denial of service) other people will get involved. It's time to play hardball. I've been to Tampa many times (I'm from NY) and Orlando isn't THAT close. I'd be PISSED if I had to drive to Orlando each time. In fact I'm going to both in a few weeks lol.

Ilya is correct. I don't blame you for being upset. That dealer needs to get a right proper bum kick from corporate! Make sure you tell corporate the names of EVERY employee who denied service. That should never happen. At my dealer in Ft Lauderdale, I am treated like a VIP cuz I get all my oil changes, warranty, and all maintenance done there. I didn't even by my car from ANY Infiniti dealer - came from CarMax and yet they always offer me a loaner, even send a driver with the loaner to my house to pick my car up! When my 07 had a starter that burned the battery up, they sent a tow truck to bring me and my car to the dealer and a loaner was there waiting for me. They honor my CarMax warranty as well.

Welcome to the forum, I too live in Orlando and used Orlando Infiniti to service my M56 but it has been a horror story with those guys. For the last two years of ownership i've had the notorious rear end clicking that it took them (5) times to finally fix. Secondly they performed the timing chain recall and my car also had the humming sound for the A/C and they replaced the blower motor but when i came to pick the car up there was broken plastic on the passenger floor mat and they also did not fill the coolant reservoir. I complained and the fixed everything at that point. I had to return the next day because whilst driving the car started spilling coolant also and the stated that the wrong hose clamp was placed on the vehicle. I voiced my concern again and they rectified it. The last straw (2) months ago was a check engine light that came on and i took it in and they diagnosed it to be a sensor of some sort (EGR i believe). I had a business trip the next day in Tampa and whilst driving down the check engine light comes on again and now I have serious braking issues as the pedal started traveling to the floor when pressed. I called them (Orlando Infiniti) and they told me don't drive the car and have it towed to the local Tampa Infiniti. They diagnosed the problem to the same sensor that was replaced saying it was broken possibly when it was installed. At that moment they Orlando Infiniti received the worst phone call in possible history. Needless to say i will no longer go there for service nor to purchase any vehicle. I told the service manager "My car is only as good as the dealership that services it. If it breaks that looks poorly on them". Im not a racer just a real estate agent.

Boy, you must have ended up with one of the worst made Q70's off the production line. Or the previous owner really did a number on the car. Sorry to hear all this. What a headache. We've all had slight issues here and there, but you are on a forum with very picky owners and owners who notice every detail. Overall these cars are very well built and should't be having the problems you are having. Hope it turns around.
