Hi from Libbi 2008 Versa SL Hatch Saphire Blue

Hi there,

I'm Libbi and new to the forum, altho not necessarily new to the car. I've owned my Versa since May of 2008. I came looking for answers to some issues I've been having with the car (small ones).

She's a 2008 Versa Hatch SL I call "bluebird" with almost all of the options. Only thing i didn't get, that i regret, is the sun/moon roof.

I was driving a truck (my baby) a Ford F150, but the fuel prices were killing us, so hubby suggested a smaller car for me to drive to work. I had not even been thinking of buying a new car so hadn't even been looking. We started out looking at Saturn.

The neighbors had recently bought two new Kia's, one of which was a hatch and i thought theirs was really cute. We were looking at several different cars, and test drove a Versa. I told hubby i wanted something that would get up and go, cuz i had driven 4 cyl cars before that just didn't have any umph. I loved how the Versa drove and somehow ended up with one. I haven't regretted it for a moment. I love my Versa!

Welcome to the forums! Glad to hear you are another Versa fanatic!!!Love the blue colour. I was tossing and turning between that blue and the red (I ended up getting red). haha

My toss up was whether or not i wanted another white vehicle. Almost every vehicle i have owned has been white and I love white vehicles. However, I saw the blue, and even my hubby said later, i knew when you saw that blue that it was all over. LOL

I still prefer the white for dirt absorption, the blue shows everything, but then you want your new car spotless anyway, right?
