are you guys using the high-flow cat on your exhaust system? i will custom build my exhuast shortly, i think the noise will be crazy if it's straight through and with just a 3" n1 muffler at the end.

Noise isn't bad at all. I have the RSR 3" catback and its not noticibly louder than stock but with a deeper tone.

its hard to make a turbo engine obnoxiously loud as long as there is a muffler, the turbo absorbs alot of noise.

I'm using a Tophat 3" cat. Don't know how it would sound straight-through, but it sounds beautiful right now.

i have the exact same setup, rb25 straight 3" piping to a n1 turbo canister, sounds really good, but obviously a little louder, but with the silencer in, its pretty quiet, also very restrictive.

i made a test pipe for my friend's sr20 setup...it's on the loud side, but tolerable. maybe the rb20 isn't much different, noise wise.

My power extream 2 with no cat is no where loud. it's crazy. I have a high flow resanator that I bought for my car (looks like a cat on the outside and inside cept it's 3" all the way lol) it will be even quieter then. I need to host a vid clip of it and you will see what I'm talking about.

cool... alright guys! i think i'll just make my exhaust with only the n1 muffler--straight 3" all the way to the turbo. we'll see how the sound will be.
