Hey guys i really want and Infiniti G35 and plan on getting one After i get my next job. I had a few questions.

First off i am getting one used, what are the best years to get? i was looking at 03-04

How many miles should i look for? I know the lower the better trying to get one with less then 50K, but how many miles are to much for a used Infiniti? (i bought my Integra with 120,000 LMAO)

I do basic work on my Integra right now, Oil changes, spark plugs, etc. How much harder will it be to work on this car to a Integra?

Last thing is 2003-2004 G35 has 260HP and 260 Torque, i would Love to get it to 300Hp about.

Short ram should add about 10-11? then exhaust system about 10-11?

Up to 280Hp and about 270 torque???? What else would make the bump to 300? Thanks guys.

Coupes have 280+HP, intake would get you between 5-8HP at the wheels, probably the same for exhaust.

There was some guy who apparently got 302 HP at the wheels out of his NA only 350Z, but with the amount of money he spent you could get a stack more with forced induction.

Welcome to NICO!

...first off, it's Infiniti...you run the risk of flamage if you spell it like the audio brand.

Next, get the newest vehicle you can afford. 03-04's have issues with the stereo head deck and are "non-REVup" engines. Try for an 05.

The VQ engine is a terrific power plant, but there isn't much room for improvement. Short RAM intakes, plenum spacers and exhaust systems will give you around 15-20rwhp. The only way to get extreme power from the engine is with FI, or an expensive NA engine build.

2003-2004 coupes/sedan are equipped with non rev up motors.
