Hi Everyone - Questions Please - 2011 G37 Journey

Hi everyone. My wife and I saw this site and thought that we would ask you all some questions as it is nice to hear from experts and those with experiences with the car we are looking to buy.

Presently, we have a 1999 Q45 that we are getting ready to replace. Prior to that, we had a 1990 Q45. Now that the kids are on their own (both 21), we do not need such a big car. We are looking to buy a 2011 G37 Journey within the next couple of weeks. We will not be trading in our Q45. We presently live in San Diego, Ca.

Would greatly appreciated any input you may have on the following questions:

1) Please give us your opinions of the G37 both newer and older cars.

2) Would the G25 be just as good of a car but have less power?

3) What is the best way to buy an Infiniti? We bought our last two Q45 from private parties.

4) Does anyone know what discounts may be available?

5) Is the end of the year the best time to buy or, perhaps, the end of the month?

Whereas, money is not the complete issue for us, it is always a factor.
