Hi everyone, I am new to this site and think this forum is great! I have a problem and was wondering if you could help me out. I over revved my engine trying to race a CRX (by the way I did smash him unit I downshifted from 4th to 3rd at 7k rpm!!!) and broke most of my rocker arms and scared my cams. I thought I did more damage than I actually could see upon initial inspection of the engine. So I pulled the head to have it rebuilt and have the cams re-ground. This is my first time digging off into my engine so I made a couple of precautionary mistakes. I did not mark the cams for TDC and I did not mark my timing. I just got my head back and I just purchased my head set kit. But I am a little apprehensive about assembling the head back on the block until I am sure I am at TDC on the block. Is there any way possible to set the block to TDC without pulling the pulley and the front cover on the block? I have taken some pictures of the work so far. Thanks a lot for any assistance you may provide for me…

hi welcom to the site, first i suggest location and downloading/puchasing a factory sevice manual (FSM as they refer to it here). It will have all the information neccesary for setting timing and re-assembely of the head.

hope you stick around :)
