A friend of mine is probably going to get his KA24DE rebuilt soon and is considering going with high compression pistons (10.5:1). He has a budget set aorund 2grand for everything. The problem is I'm not quite sure exactly what is needed in the way of tuning for the high compression. Is FPR enough, or new fuel pump, or AFC or ECU retune...maybe injectors? He doesn't have enough money for a standalone or anything, probably not even enough for a ECU reprogram...if its possible with an FPR or AFC, that would be good. Thanks!

I would recommend 370cc and a S-AFC for the lowest cost setup.
