Please allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Michal, I'm from Edmonton Alberta, and I've been a Versa owner since November 30th, 2007. I have the 2008 SL CVT version fully loaded (sport package I think is what they call it here up north). The few differences between what we Canucks get and what you neighbors to the south get is that we don't have the intelligent key fob offered, we only get XM stereo (no Serius option) and we don't have the TPMS. Our packages when choosing the Versa are grouped into bigger groups (ie. we cannot just get the ABS on the standard version we have to get a package that includes the ABS, same goes with the Stereo and the other stuff).

I've been silent on the forums since the middle of November when I went to a dealer here in town test drove the Versa and put my deposit on one. After waiting for two weeks for the car to finally get here from the coast I took possession on the 30th of November.

I hope to share my experiences with the Versa with you. So far it has 1200 kilometers on it and its half way through the third tank of gas. The first tank the car consumed over 9.6L/100km , the second was 9.4L/100km, both tanks of gas were driven a mix in the city and the highway, and the trips were constantly accelerating the car (putting a load on the engine) and letting it slow down 10-20 kilometers before accelerating again. This last tank since I passed 1000kms I've been driving it more normally, with acceleration mildly aggressive but keeping speed steady when getting up to speed with economic driving. I will update the fuel consumption come next fill-up sometime by the end of the weekend or beginning of next week if anyone is interested.

Anyways I won't rattle on. I think that's enough for an introduction, and I might have had rambled on too much already.

Sirius was only an option in the US in 07, XM is the only option for '08 down here as well.

Also, I thought ABS was standard on all Versas in Canada? It's not, here... it's an option.

no abs comes as an option on the base model the SL has it included (but it isn't the base either)
