Hi all,
I have a 2010 Rogue, and I'm quite happy with it. Question about stereos that I'm hoping a brighter mind than mine already has the answer for.

My stereo is stock, and does not have BlueTooth. I can get an aftermarket stereo and install it, but then I'd lose my steering wheel radio controls. :(

What I've heard is that there are indeed aftermarket stereos that would have BT and could be installed so I won't lose my steering wheel radio controls... anyone happen to know a brand or model that might be true for in my 2010 Rogue?

Tx!
Daniel

go to http://www.crutchfield.com and search for radio's that will have the option to integrate with the oem steering wheel controls. it also depend son make/model. they dont make such modules for non-popular cars. i think our car is popular enough

Hi all,
Follow up!

If your stereo has an input in the back labelled 'Remote' or 'REM' then you are likely good to go for getting your steering wheel controls to work.

I have a 2010 Rogue, factory stereo (no bluetooth on SWC). Aftermarket Alpine stereo, couple years old.

Bought my SWC harness/interface from here:
http://axxessinterfaces.com/index.php?m ... page&id=19

Used a harness like this one:

And this website was invaluable for figuring out the 12v and ground wires on the original harness.

Plus I needed a radio wire harness. No link, but pretty standard item.

Took me about an hour to get most of the harness together, and then a couple hours to put the Axxess harness into the original harness, plus I ran a mic through the vent duct.

Good to go! Not a small job, but well worth it to keep the steering wheel controls.

Thanks,
Daniel
