i went to dealership and found out that i have wires behind the bumper for the foglight

but the dealership is saying they are not sure if it is connected to the combo switch (wheel)
and they are also not sure if fog lights will turn on because it might not be set up on the computer in the car.

can anyone verify this???? so that i can just go on and install the lights and switch right away!!!!!

PLEASEEEE HELLLPPPP

it worked for me fine, they told me the same s*** as well

you need a new combo switch of course but that comes in the fog light kit you can buy, I think they only have the kit out for "sedan only " but it fits on coupes

I ordered it through the dealership, you can also use courtestyparts.com for like a 20 buck savings

in total it was like 200 bucks or so for the fog light kit

ya that's right, you get a kit with the new switch and order black covers that pop in where old ones are that have a hole for fog lights

get the kit from nissan dealership or courtesyparts.com

same place

just take the lazy route and ask the dealership, they should know what you're talking about and the piece is only like 7 bucks a side

pain and suffering when you do wiring

from my understanding most 2010's are prewired though

mine is a stripped down version and it was prewired, same with steering wheel controls

Put your car up on ramps/jack stands. Remove the bottom cover, crawl under it, and look for the wires. I think the passenger side is harder to find but I cant remember, one of my wires was by the windshield washer reserve tank.

I had a nissan parts salesman crawl under and look for it, but he didn't find either wire so I went home and did a more thorough job searching.

theres no need to jack up the car. I pulled out the black fog covers, used a flashlight to look inside and felt inside with my hand and found the wires. They're black with a white/yellow combo colored connection at the end.

question: so the sedan fog kit comes with the black cover that has an opening for the fogs???

I just need the black cover cause i went the aftermarket route with fogs (eBay halo fogs).

it's a separate part kit is jut lights and switch

I jacked my car up (ramps actually) because I like room to breathe and move my arms

was easier for me to see wires from the bottom then top
