Wats up guys , I have a big dilema on my hands , a guy around my way bought a used 350z from ebay from colorado and we are in ny , first of all thats a bad start so the car was shipped to ny and when coming off the rig it didn't even start , so he took it to two mechanics and they couldn't get it started so i decided to take a look at it , before i go on any futher let u know that the car is supercharged , well the car is cranking strong but wont turn over so i checked for a kill switch wasn't any , then i wasn't getting any fuel , the walbro fuel pump failed , mind u the guy from the trailer company said the car started and drove on the trailor and he moved it off while in transport to move another car , so i changed the pump and i could hear it coming on and i have fuel pressure , car still wont start , from the info i got the previous mechanic said the spark plug chamber and spark plug had oil , so i pulled a plug and i had some oil on the threads but i cant make of it cus they pulled all the plugs and cleaned so i dont know how bad it was , i tried to start it with starter fluid thru the intake vacum still didnt want to start , it wanted to turn over but just didnt , so if any of u guys have any ideas please pass them my way , so i could get this headache over with !

thanksDamian

ouch, well first of all if the mechanic's he took it to had nothing to offer beyond they can't start it they are idiots and you should never do business with them, if you hit it was starter fluid and I'll assume you got it efficiently intot he intake and it didn't try to kick over, you have a spark issue, I have no experience with the ignition system on Z33's but if you're not getting anythign even with starter fluid it's definitely a spark issue, fresh plugs would help ruls out a oil fowling as the casue, check zcca.org for yuour local Z car club, most likely they can put you in touch with a reputable Z mechanic

The second link got me to some "single Thai girls" website?!?! I doubt they could help with any car issues. Do you have the correct link?

thanks guys for the advice , i spoke to the owner of the car yesterday and they got the car started , turns out it was a fuse that was blown , i didn't check that cus the mechanic told me it was all good so i took his word for it , but at the same time he told me had to drop the tank to get to the fuel pump as well too , so i should've just checked myself , i though it was a bigger prob than a fuse , the fuel pump did go bad though so at least i helped him with that !

ThanksDamian

well if it is a fuel pump fuse you apparently did not correctly get the starting fluid into the intake, keep that in mind next time you try this
