Hey all,I know this seems like a stupid question... but when I bought my Kaaz it was used (out of box) and the guy i got it off of threw in allot of the gaskets and seals for the pumpkin, however ive gotta gallon of cheap gear fliud for break in and mobil 1 gear fluid for the race use... neone else run nething other than kaaz fluid in their diff?

I know is frowned upon, and I really dont know where to buy a decently priced can of kaaz fluid only... does it really hurt the internals of the kaaz to use standard mobil 1 gear oil?

and is it ok to use the cheap stuff for break in? it probibly wont be in the diff for more than an hr after install...

Graci! :Jon

you do not need the "specail" kaaz fluid, save yourself 40 bucks and go get some 80 - 90 weight (or whatever kaaz uses) and use that.

or, i will sell you my kaaz fluid thing that came with my lsd for 20 bucks plus shipping.matt
