Hey where did you get your engine from?

I just ordered my SR20det red headfrom Jazzproparts.com for 1,750 free Shipping I ordered it on the first of this month.It says that shipping takes from 24-48 hours.I have not gotten it yet and I went to the site to check on it, but It says that it has not shipped yet. I think they may be out or something.I did not get the email back yet tho.The price is now like 1,895.I hope they don't change the price on me. I already paid for the engine.Did any of you guys have any issues with getting your engines ?

i doubt it would take a day or two to arrive. thats probably how long it takes them to recieve and package your order. id say it should be there by friday.

Never heard of jazzproparts. And, yeah, lots of people have trouble getting their engines. They order from shady shops and get ripped off or d***ed around for months.

How did you pay for your engine? Credit card?

seriosly, I dont mean to sound bogus, but what the hell where you thinking spending almost $2,000 and not asking about the company here first, or ATLEAST speaking to someone from the company on the phone. Best of luck to you but I would be worried.

Anyway, Tristan...if you paid using a credit card the CC company would most likely be able to do something for you if it turns out you got ripped off.

Yeah, I was thinking of ordering from them too, but was too scared of getting scammed. Still 2500+600=3100. Free shipping too. I still think they beat anyone's price out there... If they're legit. :X

I wouldnt say 3100 is a good price for a s13 redtop. They've been had for around 2500 with everything you need for hte swap on a regular basis. If I were you I would have bought from one of our sponsors, but thats just me. I like to keep the people who keep us in business, in business.

I agree, I bought by S14 SR front clip from Phase2 fro 3500!! And they sell only quality.

Yeah i got a full s13 front clip from phase 2 for $2500 about 3 weeks ago. Perfect motor and runs like a champ. I think they cost like 2700 now though. Japan has caught on to the demand here and are driving up prices for quality running clips.

Well, even if you DO get the motor, you're going to be dissapointed seeing as you wont be able to get it running without the ignitor chip and MAF. Hope you at least get the engine, but let this be a lesson to DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY. There are alot of people here who have ordered from alot of places, they can tell you who ripped them off and who gave quality and good service.

When I get the motor I should be okI have like 6k to spend on iT. I just wanted to get the engine for a low price before I build it up.They are a real company but I still dont have my engine yet tho.Maby Im just too impatient to get boostin.

You do understand that ignitor chips are pretty hard to find, and they're pretty vital to you STARTING the engine...right?

4 days later and you hoping its going to be there???? I would expect something around 2 week wait for motor.Oh and since you dont have igniter/maf/ whatever else, I would strongly suggest ordering it ASAP.Most places have only 30day startup warrantee. so if you dont get is started and verified that its a good motor in that time you're just SOL.
