Seeing as how it was never a licensed model by Nissan, there is NO official name for it, so you could call it a dodge viper and be just as wrong as the next guy =)

I saw that car a month ago at HIN, it has been extensively fabricated to be just like a little pickup truck, its pretty well done and looks so nice, theres also a MKIII supra that someone did like that.

Yea, I heard that. Except for the fact there is no el Camino in the car. We could also call it a Sil Ranchero, but no. I think not.

I've always heard them called being Sil-ute.

Quote »Australia was the birthplace of these car-truck hybrids, which are generically referred to as "utes," short for utility. The Holden Ute is just one example of these popular vehicles, and it's among that company's bestsellers.[/quote]

I retract my earlier statements. That picture up there doesn't look all that bad at all. The top one looked pretty nasty...bad angle I guess.

I'd love to do that with a big four-door.

Retain the seating in the cabin, and then make a truck bed out of the trunk....that'd kick a$$.

It'd be like a short-bed crew cab.

Do it with, say, an LS400, 1JZ swap, 6MT, + the truck bed.
