I will probably be purchasing a Vortech complete kit in the next couple weeks, I some questions about their engine management system. I think it is SplitSecond...is this brand user friendly? Is this my only option? Can most tuners work with it? I went to their site and they don't even list Infiniti or Nissian. Any thoughts would be awesome. Thanks

the split second box is ok. it isnt that bad. if you need a map for it without having to dyno tune it let me know. you could always just not install the ss box and just replace your ecu with a diablo ecu.

e-mail me if you have more questions.

the diablo is just like any other stand-alone ecu. It replaces your stock ecu so you can built custom made fuel, timming, and a/f ratio maps.

its got a price tag but when it comes to saving your enging i would rather have engine insurance now then be sitting with a 10k bill to pay for a rebuild.(and then buy this later any way)

about $400-2000 depending on brand.
