Hello community.I just got a used '04 I35. As with my older car (i will omit the year and model to save me some embarrassment) i want to check in with the source that has been a fountain of invaluable information for me.

Anywho.

I would appreciate some tips for maintenance, must-have upgrades, etc.

My ride seems to be in perfect shape. everything works down to the last bulb and has been kept in AA shape by last owner. It does have a ton (125) of miles on it. How long do these cars last, given good maintenance ?

One thing i want to do is actually replace the steering wheel. its very very worn out. The problem is it is heated. A friend told me that im rather screwed. Is it true ?

thanks for any and all of your input.

Vladiso.

P.S.: New York has just put its "seal of approval" on my rear bumper =(. Why do we have so many bastards who cannot move out of a f*ng parking spot.

Welcome to NICO.

With proper maintenance, you should have no problem getting to 200k miles.

I'm not entirely sure on the steering wheel, but I would think that if you put a non heated one on, it'd be fine. Check out http://www.car-parts.com for an OEM replacement.

We need some pics! There's lots of 'must get mods'. Just keep looking on here and you can find lots of things. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.
