Yes he has tracked it at thunder hill but I think of it this way. 1 day at the track is same as 1 day as raping a car on the streets. Plus tracks are paved very smooth. Streets are not. Id rather take a car thats seen the track a few times than the streets for 2 years.blueballa wrote:aww man your from YC also.
thas pretty sick.
first person ive meet on nico thas in the same town as me.
sick.
and it sounds like you've got alot of experiance with 240's
even better man.
im pretty sure im going to buy this 240. but im just making sure theres no BS involved later on down the road.
You live in sacramento lol your asking to be pulled over in any modified S-chassis car haha.sunnys14 wrote:That car is going for like 6500 now.
It looks ok, but nothing I would ever do to my car, too damn flashy.
WOT = wide open throttle. He means if its smooth in boost like their is no hesitation, bogging, etc. Also the price of the car is 7600 with the wheels in the pictures. 7,000 without the wheels in the picture.blueballa wrote:how would you know if its smooth on and off boost?
and what are WOT runs?
wouldnt it run the same reguardless on or off boost?

Not into flashy stuff lol. Your car is blingin compared to mine. I rock stock except my rear bumper which does look stock. But Smogsux does have a point. Why build up a awesome car and just drive it for show? If you want to go out street racing dont buy a S-chassis car. Go buy a AWD dsm or a mustang gt. To be honest that car is a mid to low 14 second car at best the way it is sitting right now. Stock S200's, 350z's would probably pull away from it. If you want to upgrade the turbo kit to get more power it is not going to be cheap.SmogSUX wrote:I'll vouch for the car too. It's pretty dope. Tastefully modded (minus the aero..I'm not into the flashiness either lol)
Whoever said they don't like that a cars been to a track I ask this:
Why build the car to handle really well and to go really fast if you don't intend to put the car on the track? Isn't that why we mod our cars? (Unless you're just into looks...)
BTW I'm another guy from the YCCCC....but an ex-S-Chasis owner lol
What do you drive now?
EDIT: Oh and Yuba City...the cops are sooo nice compared to Sac and stuff..
He said theres alot of guys looking at the car and wanting to buy it since he posted it for 9k. No one bought it...blueballa wrote:thanks you guys. i feel more confident in buying.
i emailed the guy today. and i got a responce not too long ago.
he said, theres ALOT of guys looking at the car this saturday. and if its not sold. he will let me know.
hopefully all those guys low ball or something soo he doesnt sell it.
I WANT THAT RIDE. :-(
ill fill you guys in if it does or doesnt sell. if not, shes all mine.
you have a S13 and have 7600 to spend?!?! There is a lot of stuff you can do to a S13 with 7600 bucks. You can even buy a S14 and slap on a ka-t setup, wheels, coils, and paint for 7600 bucks if you come across some good deals. Just find a stock S14 or go all out on your S13. Either way I can help you out when I got the time. Modding a car to your own taste is always better than buying a already modified car IMO.blueballa wrote:noo, man. i got 7600.00 cash sitting around. this is pretty g**..
ive been looking for a 98-97 240sx turbo for quite some time now.
and to see this one gone.. just sucks.
i guess im gonna have to stick with my s13 for now.
oh well tho. who ever got it is one lucky son of a gun.
ayy shimizu_17, when i get a hold of a s14 turbo ill hit you up, maybe we can meet up in town.
but thanks for all you who contributed to this forum.
