Are you near the Woodward dream cruise? It's August 16th this year and I'm hoping someone will be there to get some pics for us Ford (and Nissan/Infiniti) lovers. Are you "cruising" this year?

Anybody going? Anybody ever been? Is it as neat as it appears?

I've never been, usually I've been out of the Detroit area that time of year. Try and remind me closer to the date and I'll see if I can arrange something. From what I've heard, its a really good time. They cruise Woodward all the way to Detroit.

If I had a 69 Camaro, my mom's 71 Cuda (that's a long story that makes me mad), or my uncle's 68 Cougar (goes along with the story of the Cuda), or a 68 Mustang, I'd probably be in the cruise.

rn79870- I live about 1/2 mile from Woodward, I'll be there for sure.It starts getting pretty crazy on the tuesday or wednesday before the cruise on Saturday. Its a 16 mile strip that everybody cruises on and there is over a million people out there sitting on the side of the road drinking and bbq, every car you can think of domestic, euro, jap, bikes, monster trucks, and tons of muscle cars from the late 60's early 70's, Bentley's and Ferrari's - cops heavily patrol but the main highways are full of races for a full week its on where ever you drive.
