Hey guys, I need a good standard CA18DET crank. One that's serviceable and ready to be used. Anyone posessing such a part, holla at me as soon as possible. I have 2 good engines and don't want to spoil them for what I want to do. And I'm too lazy to go to the junkyard to pull one.

Kevin, get me a couple of pics of your old crank. I knew your engine was knocking, but it didn't sound like deep rod knock. If the journals are not beat down or not tapered off, we maybe able to deal you some loot.

Hi Dee,

If you still Can't find one, let me know, I have a ca16de engine that I can pull the crank out of it, I believe it is the same as the ca18de/T

Don't worry dude, we'll get a chance to speak to each other and get you squared away.

Got thew new crank kit today! I have not opened the box yet, but I'm pretty sure it's correct. Sucks that I have to rebuild because of one stinking journal getting starved . It should be aggressive and fight for it's oil like all the others . Will take pics when I get the time (just too busy to play with my own toys).
