hey quick question about the 300zx brakes

im not sure if im right with this cant remember were i read it but is it true that the 300zx brakes wont clear rota grids 16x8 +10 ofset if so why wont it clear arnt the stock z rims 16's too. So what is it not enought caliper clearence?

its not the diameter of the wheel, its the distance between the back of the spokes/face of the wheel and the caliper itself.

meaning, if they DONT clear grids, you could make them clear with some spacers so that theres enough room between the caliper and the wheels spokes.

It's not actually the wheel diameter that prevents running the Z32 brakes, I ran Z32s with my stock 15" SE wheels.

The problem is the spoke clearance. The spokes of the ROTA Grids do not clear the calibers unless you run spacers, which would look retarded unless you did some pulling or fender flares.

you could just get the rotas with +25 offset so you could run spacers to clear the breaks and you wouldnt need that much of a roll/pull if any. there is also the option of Q45 or other wheels.

tirez.net has the +25 offset by the way
