hey new user, want to know how to remove stock spoiler

so i have some subs in my convert, and the spoiler rattles like a mofo. I want to take it off, but having some trouble. i dont work on my car that much, and honetsly dont know that much on how to work on it, but any help with knowing how to taek off the spoiler would be greatly appreicated.

Hi! Welcome to NICO!!!

Check out the registry and sign you car in. Also.. let see some pictures huh?!!

My advice would be to buy a used coupe trunklid and just swap the whole trunklid rather than removing the spoiler. The reason is that the spoiler is fastened on by screws that go through the lid.. So you will have open holes and exposed metal on your trunk if you pull the spoiler off... Will look tacky and be prone to rust.

put up a WTT (Want to trade) thread in classifieds and see if anyone is looking for a lid with a spoiler..

That's what I did. I went to a junkyard and pulled the trunklid off of an 89 base model coupe. Best $30 I have spent on my car so far.
