hey everyone. just sayin hi.i just got an 06 KC v6 4x2 a few days ago and im beyond in love with it.

right now im looking in to puttin on new air intake and exhaust and was curious on any suggestions. seems like flowmaster would be a good way to go. also, how much of a difference is getting just muffler compared to whole exhaust? i found a flowmaster super 44 for under 80 bucks and if i can get a good effect out of that i would rather go that route. payment/insurance sure dips in to my income... now with air intake i have no clue what brands to even concider, its not something ive researched at all yet.eventually i want to get a lift, any recommendations?

do those modifiactions dip in to gas mileage much? think im hitting ~13-ish luckily i live like 2 miles from work, freeway even.

Intake and exhaust mods for better flow should actually increase MPG a bit if driving habits remain constant (which they never do! ha ha)

Welcome to NICO...

K&N, AEM, Airaid, AFE, Volant, Injen all make intake systems for the '06 Frontier. There are also TB spacers and such available.

ok cool thanks.what are some differences in them?and what are your personal preferences

well i took mine out today through some mud today.i live in arizona and we got a little rain 2 days ago so i decided ide go tear up the desert trails.does surprisingly well until i get to the slick stuff. i just need some real off-road tires then i should be set for that. just have the long trails it came with

go with flowmaster and k&n intake

and for lifts there are only 2.5in and 5 in kits avaiable....unless you get a custom made kit. And with bigger tires mileage will go down....happened to me

on my truck i put the 2.5in andd 33in BFG mud terrains....those are really good for nice thick mud
