Hey all! this is my first post.
History:The 240 is currently being prepped for turbo install. The engine bay has been degreased. The engine has been kept in good working order and most of the car is in mint condition thanks to previous owner and nissan dealer. The 110,- miles have been underpowerd in my opinion so i grabbed my buddies rebuilt t25 that he recieved underwarranty from saab. While he is upgrading to mitsu turbo i figure id try to mimic the sr20det setup. the trim on the turbo is .48 .49 is this going to fit / work well?
i have been reading through previous posts and have a few observations/questions:
obviously
i need 370cc injectors
safc
n62
manifold ... cant find a good store/price
tubing and intercooler should be straitforward
oil line from sending unit to oilpan
what emissions can be KEPT? i have the pdf file of how to remove it all but i want to be most legal i can. (going for stock look)
will replace clutch sometime soon
brakes have been replaced with slotted/drilled rotors. and one complete caliper assembly was replaced last week
i have tein stec springs and kgy struts
i replaced sparkplugs a couple years ago with new distributer cap
wow im getting tired typing..
what type of sensors should be bought ... high impedience ? and where should bov and wastegate be setup? i assume 5 psi? will the t25 be able to be controlled externally not sure about this... alot of t3/t4 info out ... where should maf be located. should the tubes into the stock air intake be rerouted possibly or same place after turbo ehhh i get a headache thinking about this stuff.
and o ya im confused about the cooling options on the turbo... dont want to use 2 types of coolant.
