Hey, my name is Jeff, i own a 04 350Z, its stock except for a injen CAI, ruff racing rims, and recently Edge racing resonated test pipes.

my question is, after i installed the pipes, theres a metalic rattling when i let off the throttle. it comes around 2K rpm, and seems to be comuing from the Y pipe area. any ideas?? thanks

Mine does the same, they all do. Its the flex pipes on the y pipe, unless you get an aftermarket one your keeping your rattlesnake effect.

Although I do admit i die a little inside whenever I'm driving by people at night and i let off.

I see, but ive heard clips of cars with just test pipes and some of them dont do it, i guess its a luck of the draw thing,

also the exhaust is pretty "raspy" i was told that resontated pipes should have almost no rasp, now did i just get cheep pipes, i mean they looked really nice, but are the resonators crap? anyone heared of "Edge sport products" ?

As far as i know its kinetix and intense pipes which don't have that sound, and I've never heard of Edge sport.
