hey, im new here. i dont actually own a 240...yet. im hopefully picking one up in the next couple of weeks. im talking to a guy who has one right now.

so this is my intro thread. my name is Ian, i live in chicago, born and raised. but now i go to SIU down in carbondale il, and im an automotive tech major. ive been working on cars for about five or six years, and have always enjoyed just being around them.

my first car was a 1988 celica alltrac. and i pretty much restored it from the ground up.

yeah. its a red 92, no rust, with some interior mods and some body mods. other than that, i think its stock, minus a bud 40oz overflow tank, lol.

im already looking into buying a sr motor and trans set plus a holset hx35 with it. so well see.

yeah i was going to do one or the other first. i came across a deal on another forum, so i asked about it, and it had already sold. so im prolly going to go with suspension first.
