I don't think anybody is editing you. I know I am not. An administrator could advise on this.

Drop the emo posting. It's just useless. Most people I know would not wait until the last chance to vote. Everybody I know on a personal level has already voted.

About the only thing I agree with in this thread is you telling people to vote.

Were you taught to be ignorant or did you simply grow into it? Don't take that as an attack, take it as me simply wanting to know.

sanioll, you're about to piss me off with your "Sponsored by Kleenex" nonsense.

You don't have any "freedom of speech" on an internet forum... Apparently you didn't read the FAQ or the Terms of Service that you agreed to.

Quit agitatin' my dots.

You make me laugh. Try reading the Terms and Conditions that you agreed to.

+1 for telling people to vote. That's about the only good thing I've seen you post.

Good threading everyone, good job. Angry crowd above.

I voted 2 weeks ago, it was great. Early voting should be made into a standard from now on, in every state. This would avoid last minute counting problems, reduce fraud and increase legitimacy in the voting process while increasing number of people who participate.

Took 15 minutes of my time. Made everyone in my family, and some friends to vote early. Now they thank me.

themadscientist, please stop being a jerk. It is easy to be a jackas s, but it takes a bit of work to be nice to people. I got an idea, do something useful with your life.

First of all, apathy is what keeps most people from voting.

Secondly, I don't see how an absentee ballot would decrease fraud. It's just as easy to rig / miscount a stack of papers. Here in NY we use a mechanical voting process. There are a bunch of switches inside the booth, and a readout locked in the back keeps running totals. No miscounts in this state. Seems like paper ballots would ADD unnecessary chaos to me.

If you say something like this anywhere on NICO again I'm going to lobby as hard as I can for you to be perma-banned forever.

Are we clear?

No one's editing your threads because you're liberal and they're conservative. I'm an Obama supporter and I think they're editing your threads because you're a nut. Wanna fight about it?

That "go hang yourself" comment was a joke. Take it easy. I am not a nut, just a bit overdozed on coffee, thats all.

HashiriyaS14, I am not lame, I understand. It was a joke as already mentioned, and also you should also never threaten, only promise if you are going to do something.

Okay, back to original topic, Voting. It is going to be a very exciting day.

Do not forget to wake people up, especially those college kids.

It's not a threat...it's more of a courtesy warning... for YOUR benefit.

Let the college kids sleep, they don't have enough experience to rate an opinion and definitely not a vote. Come back after you spend a year or two in the real world away from mommy and daddies money and the hippie professors and then tell us what you think.

OKAY, CHANGE OF SUBJECT. OVER, CUT IT. NO MORE STUPID ARGUMENTS.

NOW GO AND DO YOUR PART, WAKE UP REPUBLICANS, DEMOCRATS, ENCOURAGE THEM TO VOTE.

This election is historic, you will remember it. It is either the first black president, or first women vice president. Do your part in your COUNTY.

There is a president of my county? Cool. Actually, not cool. I don't want to pay for him/her.

I don't really consider it historic. Its another election. Who says that McCain or Obama will win. Hell, Stephen Colbert was doing well in the polls a while a go. We're voting in a new president. Big deal. I remember every election pretty much the same, regardless of whether I'm voting for the school board budget, a town committee member, or the POTUS. No biggie. O...

Umm, no not necessarily. Some yes, but not all. Many college students actually do make an informed decision. I was talking with my brother last night who is a freshman in college and we were talking about who we were voting for. He deduced that, based on his beliefs, that he is conservative. He also was able to deduce that he felt McCain was better. He was also able to stray away from other young people that are OMG OBAMA and their peer pressure without really knowing anything about the man (the OMG OBAMA people, not him). He was able to point to specifics as to why he didn't like Obama and that his OMG OBAMA friends couldn't offer a true reason why they liked him or disliked McCain. This surprised me because he has been pretty gullible in the past and he was able to see the hypocrisy of Democrats. There are many students like him. I was like him and some of my friends were like him. On the other hand, some of my friends were also too caught up in entertainment and didn't know anything about what was going on and voted as if it were a popularity contest (guys and girls alike).
