Found a couple of mobile apps that you may enjoy:

Road Ninja (free): Never travel the interstate alone again. Road Ninja has your back. This mobile app does a solid job of alerting you to food, gas, lodging and other essential roadway necessities by way of upcoming highway off-ramps. Users also have the ability to set up preferences of your favorite chain restaurants so you'll never miss the comfort food you love even when away from home. For now only available on iOS. http://roadninja.mobi/

Room 77 (free): Tired of playing hotel room-roulette, and having to guess what kind of view, if any, awaits you upstairs? Room 77 shows you the best and worst room views via Google maps, blueprints and user content to make the most of your next hotel stay. https://www.room77.com/

*As quoted from CNN's list of "50 new tech tools you should know about" http://www.cnn.com/2012/01/25/tech/web/ ... index.html*
There are a few cool apps on this list that I am trying out now...

Jesda should make his own app.

"Head south for grape soda and fried chicken"
"Pull over here and add oil to your thirsty northstar with a blown headgasket"
"replace wheel bearing"
"Pull off here to purchase latest Kelly Clarkson album"

and my personal favorite "Take the Harrisfield exit to pick up Papasmurf from the airport and proceed to Yeungling Brewery in Pottsville".

I want to go to the Yeungling Brewery!

"Poynt" is my favorite travel app.

You can look up Restaurants according to name + genre + proximity. It organizes them according to proximity. It provides you with their address, a map, directions, a phone number, etc.

You can search nearby movie theaters or search nearest theater playing the movie you want to see. It provides map, directions, phone number, and best of all, accurate showtimes.

You can search for gas stations according to proximity, or best price according to your type and grade. Map, directions, phone number, etc.

It has a business yellow pages that lets you search for category or by name for businesses and provides you with directions and phone number, etc.

There is a white pages function that allows you to search for people or reverse look-up by number. I haven't used this function.

There is an events search where you can search by performer, venue, category, or proximity.

There is also a tab for offers, kind of like livingsocial and ohdealsdaily.

For everyone that doesn't know... my flight to Carlisle got delayed and I feared I'd get stuck overnight somewhere (Charlotte I think) during a layover because I'd miss my connecting flight.
I call Jesda, who was somewhere east of St Lois to talk about carpooling with him, but the return trip would have killed me.

So take the flight, get f*** on my layover in Charlotte or Atlanta or whatever, fly out the next day and land in Harrisburg mid morning. I call Torry (we rent a car together every year) to come pick me up but he's already en-route to the brewery or something... so I call Jesda (from the plane while still taxiing IIRC). He's about 20 minutes out. I grab my bags, stand at the curb for about 3 minutes, and a sweet silver cadillac comes around the corner. I hop in, say hi, asked where he slept the night before and he just says "slept? No man, I've been driving non stop since we talked yesterday".

Then we went to the brewery and they made Jesda take off his shoes. I believe after that he slept for ~19 hours.

And just 6 hours before I got in the car to drive to PA, I had just finished driving from Washington to Missouri. I went from one coast to the other and ended up at a brewery.

There's mine.
Abs has a pretty strong rape case against me based on that picture.

"she was like a tractor beam of hotness... she just walked up and grabbed my junk!"

note: the above story is a quote and is completely fictitious when pertaining to that night... I think
