Some future Titan/Hemi info and the Dodge/Nissan shared truck.

Quote » Titan will feature an exterior and interior designed solely by Nissan, which should put to rest concerns about a rebadged Dodge Ram. The two trucks will, however, share platforms, the Ram's new coil-sprung rear suspension, the cool RamBox storage compartment (despite hearing previously that the Titan wouldn't get this feature), and engines. In fact, in addition to a 3.7L V6 and 4.7L V8 sourced from Chrysler and a Cummins light-duty diesel V8, Nissan may offer Chrysler's 5.7L HEMI V8 rather than its own 5.6L 'Endurance' V8. Apparently the HEMI costs several hundred dollars less to build than the Endurance engine. Pickuptruck.com reports that the 5.6L V8 would still live on in the Nissan Armada and Infiniti QX56 producing 400 and 450 horsepower, respectively. [/quote]

SVT, you clearly know better than to write Mustang with a lower case m. That's sacrilegious. It MUST be capitalized unless you want to lose favor with the great and glorious all powerful Ford diety. I'd expect something like that out of zozo, becasue he got punched in the head by one of his robots. But not from a very knowledgeable, wise and mature collector of fine quality automobiles like you.

Bob, you REALLY need another Mustang!!!There is one less than 1 mile away from me at the Chevy dealer. Must be an 07 with 2k miles. Has a saleen blower, Borla exhaust, short throw shifter, saleen suspension, red with white stripes, 20inch niche rimes asking $27k. Im sure you can get them down.

If I need to go test drive it for you, let me know!!!

And so it begins. The Nissan and Chrysler tag team. I'm curious of the results of this partnership. Also in the car department.

We will see. Only time will tell. Either way it doesn't affect the cars we currently own.

Maybe you better go and drive that one for me and let me know.

We get Diablo Rojo back Tuesday. The total bill was $8997.00. The other driver had insurance, but they are waiting for the police report before accepting liability, thereafter they are going to hear about reimbursement for reduced value and matching the roof and deck stripes.

I'll bet ann new cars start 0 down, 0% financing with $2000.00 cash back soon enough. I'll wait and see what happens. My daughter saw the Warrior in Pink Mustang and decided she needs that one, so we'll see who gets which Diablo in the future. Maybe you-know-who would like a Warrior Mustang too.

The majority wanted to be able to post things that were related to the G community or to get their opinions. This fUrd stuff is tUrd stuff.

The OP was about Nissan adding the hemi to it’s line of trucks. That’s car related and probably of interest to 95% of the people here. Yet you complained about it in the second post of this thread. You check in again later to complain about a few Ford pictures. If this bothers you this much, why open it? You don’t need to complain about everything you don’t like, just avoid it.

OR you could throw this in Gen Chat, Other Cars, or the Titan Forum where it belongs.

There are all of 4 of you that like fords. The rest of us tolerate them or despise them.

I almost wish I didn't protest the OT thread. Had I known "people" would take it this far, I'd have kept my mouth shut.

Nate, I believe that is Bob's point... If you didn't like it then you should have just kept your mouth shut. I respect your posts and think that you are a valued contributor to the G35 forum, but that does not mean that everything we talk about on this forum has to deal with G35's... We have some core members on the G35 forum that do not constantly live and breathe G35, however we like the limited comroderie that the G35 forum provides.

With all due respect, we know the group that we are talking to here... in general chat, you get every walk of life that trolls the internet. Some of us prefer the comfort of our "brothers" here in the G35 forum... it's our home.

I don't want you to leave this forum as AGAIN, I believe that you are a valued contributor. If we restrict our conversations to G35 talk alone, then we become EVERY OTHER G35 forum on the web. The only thing that seperates us from the herd is our core members. Embrace our comroderie or post your disgust in another forum.

Last I checked, all of the new members are welcomed appropriately and most questions pertaining to their particular query are answered/resolved in a timely fashion. We're doing our "job" here... but it's not all work... sometimes we have to play. Next time you get urked about an off topic thread, i recommend you just walk away...

Deal with it cause we're here to stay.

Dave

If it becomes:Welcome to Nico! Here are the tires you need. Here are the sizes that work. Here's the mods to add. Here comes the GTR

And that's it, I'm done! I've got the tires, mods, and know about the GTR That I will probably NEVER get to drive OR sit in. And, I think there will be others. I don't say this with any anger or ill feelings at all, but just stating how I feel.

Perhaps it is time for me to take a vacation anyways! Need to spend more time with my gee-tar!! Perhaps we should just stick strickly to G35 topics here only and see how it goes!!!

It voids the warranty if you even change the rims and tires of the new GTR.

C'mon guys. There is nothing wrong posmting this. That's what makes the G forum so active.

Well if somebody feels like to post some pictures of a Ford with a hot chick posing on it. So be it. I love that picture Rich BTW.

I always give them crap to post pictures of any Ford. I just do it to play with them. Hell I have a Ford on my driveway. I can't talk my wife out of it. I am just not as proud of it. Believe me if all going to be limited to G posts, people going to get bore and leave. Also if their is going to be more threads like this with bashing going to result people leaving.

Another sad day here.

Just my .02
