lol thank you, the engine and everythin runs great! BUT the body is horrible, it needs much work [its covered in rust & bondo :( ]

ugh, rust si the number1 kiler of these cars, the mechanicals are cheap and easy to work on and the engines last dang near forever, but the bodies just can't resist the rust, rust repair is expensive and takes a lot fo these cars off the road for good, lets hope your's is salvagable

i kno wat u mean, so i will have to prevent as much of it as possible and wait till i get to college and learn about the body so i can work on it and make a freakin BEAST :)

hey im new here as well, i have an 82 datsun 280zx turbo. looking mostly for parts and some help, im pretty green with these l28's, the car ran great until recently i blew my upper radiaitor hose, ive replaced it but now it wont get over 2000 rpm when TRYING to drive it, if the car is in park or neutral it will rev to 6k all day, but the moment you put it in drive....its like a 16 year old girl trying to learn how to drive a stick in a funny car...i need HELP

p.s when the car is in drive and i put in neutral i cannot rev the engine past 2-3k, only in park is it able to reach past 3k to the rev limmiter

if this started after you blew that hose, take the afm comnnector off and clean both sides with some electrical contact cleaner, might just be antifreeze that made it's way intot he connector, otherwise, start another thread
