i havent found one that holds very well compared to a non reclinable, but ive seen those new brides that look really supportive and adjustable, if you have that kind of money give it a try.

to an extent. it depends on how much side load you put on yourself while driving....if you spend much of your time on the free way a decent reclinable seat willl have plenty of bolstering. but if you spend more time drifting, auto x'ing, or tracking the car you will probably need more bolstering. ie: fixed back bucket

because the reclineable are not allowed in some motorsport events. it has to be a full bucket. i have a momo one and i absolutely love it. i drove 5 hrs straight and i felt better than the stock s14 seat or my volvo seat. it also holds me in like a champ, i just have to get some side pads because i am on the skinny side so there is some play. other than that i love it and i would not pay the extra money for a reclinable.

^all that I want to add

seats are meant to hold you, AND keep you safe. reclinables only do the first.

So what req dose a seat have to meat to be able to be used at basicly any event i would chose to go to?

Also what makes the full buckets safer just the fact that it is one pice with no hinge? these both probly have the same answer but.

you know, I gotta jump in here...one thing to keep in mind is that the designof an adjustable seat is based around a gear/sprocket that locks in place and controls the position of the seat back. If you are shifting your bodysweight when launching or cornering (either front to back, or lateral side to side),it puts tremendous strain on that gear and also the hinges which linkthe seat-back to the actual seat bottom. I've had a couple of adjustableseats break the hinge or strip the gear...just a waste of money... some bucket seats are very comfortable, and very liveable.I sat in a lot of seats before I picked my current one.

if you get a fixed back seat, you won't go back. The support is second to none, and your butt does not move an inch from the moment that you plant it there.leaps and bounds towards controlling the car through driver input.
