get the lowest sideskirts available. The lower to the ground, the better. It reduces the airflow that goes under the car when your getting sideways. Also, deeper lipped wheels help guide the air, like a "tunnel", cooling the diff and brakes when going sideways.

well thanks for the tips. but engines i was thinkin about just big doggin it right out the box with like an rb25. yes i have looked in to how hard the swap is. so for the motor swap is kinda iffy on wat i will go with. for the car is body style just preference or is one style just all around better cuz i like the s 14's.

....thats not ..nice you guys want to see a good set of deep dish rims ruined ...

all 240's are generally the same with minor weight differences Just a matter of prefrence aka which you like best. Start of with the stock ka a lsd, coilovers big open area..and lots of tires...and manual...then once you get the general hang of it...then think about what motor set you want to choose ...yes black top is better the red top.... ...but i <3 the ka

Start by getting used to the car. How it turn, how it accel. Begin with doing donuts then doing ''8''. You can have alot of fun with the KA in the s13. Get some used tire that you can get for free at some garages. A setup of coilover because drifting with oem suspension totally sucks. Maybe you'll want to check for a new clutch because you'll see the end of it pretty fast if you pratice a lot, don't go with something oem but better that can take abuse.Get some time track, check some drifting vid, maybe film yourself to see what's wrong, check Drift Bible, go drift with friends that a good at it etc..After that...get the basic upgrade to have more hp, or go with a SR.Have fun drifting, it's a lot more easier while seeing it at first than to do it but with pratice you should get the feeling fast.

power crazy and drifting, to me at least, doesnt really flow, i see it as cheating. technique owns power anyday. example, nick hogan vs uhh slappy... haha slappy would probably own his *** in his stock ka. but just get lsd or welded diff, nice set od coils, rucas, and call it a day... all the fun in the world

wat i mean is i like to make my car stand from the crowd and swapping the motor 2 get more power is something i like to do cuz i am goin for something that u wouldn't see in the car stock. and i wouldn't be like nick hogan cuz he is a spoiled rich kid that starting out drifting got in a viper. i am just goin for an s 14. i prolly wont swap the motor for a lil bit cuz i have to also buy another daily driver thats better on gas than my jeep.

i would get a beater for your first drift car with some steelies and a stock ka. you are gonna feel really bad if you build a really nice car and mess it up. my biggest suggestion it that you go into this sport with the idea that your car is gonna get messed up. ive been lucky so far and havent crashed at all for some reason but like a motorcycle, everyone goes down sometime. just pray when it happens it doesnt ruin your nice stuff.
