SO I GOT MY ENGINE INSTALLED IN MY CAR. ALL I NEED NOW IS THE WIRE HARDNESS THAT I SENT TO UNSTABLE HYBRIDS FOR THEM TO DO. ITS GOING TO TAKE ABOUT 3 WEEKS FOR THEM TO GET IT BACK TO ME. HOPEFULLY EVERY THING WORKS OUT FINE. SO I SENT THE WIRING DO I HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TO THE WIRE IN NEAR THE BATTERY SINCE SINCE I ONLY SENT THE ENGINE HARDNESS.:D

yeah right, i cant stand waiting, my engine builder went to europe for two weeks a week ago and i'm trying to convince myself i should wait on him.... (this goes here, that goes there, how hard could it be, hehehe)

but still got to wait on exhaust & downpipe & clutch to reach soo, no matter..

100 bucks doesn't sound unreasonable, I've heard of people charging a lot more.I'd ask the people you are sending the harness too what it takes to make it work. they know best what they are doing! (if they know what they are doing, anyway!)

ca19, where did you get your T3 manifold?

Don't ever say that... I thought the same thing, and my friend was swapping sr20 (and after sport compact car's pin by pin write up, how could you **** it up???) and I told him just to do the wiring himself and save a bundle and then I went on vacation and when I came back...jeeeeesus.Poor kid and cut and spliced lord knows what. Had to send the harness out just to have someone tell us what the heck he did to it and try and salvage it.

I used the diagram from heavy throttle.

His first mistake was copying what a rice magazine did.

Does heavy throttle have a diagram for the CA18DET wiring? I don't mind spending the money to have someone do it, but waiting 3 weeks... well that would just suck, lol, :D

I wired my CA off of the SR wire harness diagram. Everything thats on there matches the same for the CA.

The dash plug wires up color for color with a few wires left over.

The other 2 plugs by the battery matches up the same as the SR.

Its simple stuff :D

Sure does.... color for color. Just have to watch out for that one wire that needs to be shared in with another for the Coil Power, but other than that, easy stuff.

Also... don't forget. Do a search my Code 34 fix. It shows you how to hook up the knock sensor since there is no where for it to connect to on the KA side of the harness.

But... its easy stuff.

Extend and repin the plug that goes up into the dash (color for color)

The 2 plugs by the ecu you wire exactly like the diagram on HT.
