hey i got a relly odd problem with my 240

hey anyone know why when i start my 240 the speedometer just keeps going up till 200 kph when im not even moving and when i do drive it is the same? lol i am confused as hell. any help would be great but when i turn it off it immediatly drops and if i start it it starts raising again

Check the vss, and go from there.

I had the same problem, i thought it was something with the car because it would go in and out. Some times the speedometer would work and then most of the time it would slowly climb if the car was on. It was just the speedometer. I changed it and the new one worked.

well... im changed the speedometer.. and no diff

my friend has a 90 hatch and his car does the same thing come to find out his speed sensor wires were cut/ broke and it was wierd it just kept climbiing with not even getting any signal from the sensor check that or just replace it ne ways and it was also jumpy too for no reason
