hey I got a problem with transmission wires!!!!

I got a 90 hatch with a single overhead... I did a ka24de swap on it and the wires off the transmission of the stock doest match up with the transmission wires off the ka24de... The ka24de is a 92 with like 4 plugs and the stock with only 3 plugs...

Your old trans had 3 switches Reverse light switch5th gear switch neutral switchyour newer trans adds 1 switch for 4th gear.

Do I have to hook up the 4th gear switch ? Do you know what color wires is it or the location of the switch?

I dont know off the top of my head. The switch is used for speed limiting. alot of guys just cut them off or leave them disconnected to omit the speed/rev limiter.
