Very nice ride, welcome to Nico.

Drive it, learn it really well, then every mod you do means more and you can tell the difference easier.

If you even plan on modding it; I have a 240sx and it always seems like I'm upgrading to 300ZX parts. Where to go from there, I have no idea.

Congrats on the Z and welcome to NICO!

Ask lots of questions as Z's can be tricky and there's a mix of both good parts and junk out there, don't get stuck with the junk!

You are one lucky guy to get a beauty like that for your b-day. Like mentioned before...get to know your car first and don't be in such a rush to do mods. Learn the ways of your car...you will benefit from it later on. And that way...you won't come back here posting one of those A BAD THING HAPPENED TODAY threads (i've done it and i've gotten flamed for it )...so yea enjoy your car stock first and do some research. Check the site out for some real useful info and then you can start planning out what you want done.

start with the basics...which in this case is NOT modding it. You need to make sure everything is mechanically sound before you jump into various mods. Make sure all the general maintenance is completed so you don't have any surprises. I would start off with checking all the coolant lines and also checking for any possible boost leaks.

Phew... Good to know i started on the right track. Yea I just did a 100 point courtesy check up that the Nissan dealer was offering for free which included a thorough check for any type of leaks. Suprisingly they found no problems because usually they will find something to pick on being a dealer and all. I also completed the 90k service while I was there. Thank You all for your advice and I look forward to learning more from u guys
