Hey guys (and gals), I'm new on Nico but i'v been following for quite some time and i'm definitely not new to the 240 scene. I'v been on houston240sx.com for a few years as well.

I have a 91' 240sx semi built High compression KA24DE (@ 11.3:1) converted to Ethanol and is completely Flex-fuel capable, so it'll run on gasoline or ethanol and i'm also running a Hydrogen Generator installed for a hydrogen boost. The 240 has this and that and blah blah blah... i'll make a tread on it w/ more info.

Here's some photos:

I got your pm but i'm not allowed to reply just yet... b/c im new.. but it's all good.
your question: where are the events in houston?
answer: well quite honestly man, i don't really go to to many events but houston240sx.com will point you in all the right directions. I hate to send you to a different forum on my first post but that's where your answer will be. I recommend going to Import face off in baytown.. happens twice a year a believe and it's really fun. over 1000 cars there. hope this answers your question and sorry i couldn't reply to your pm!

Thank you sir. Regarding the power output. No dyno yet. She runs impressively well if I may say so myself. I wouldn't be surprised if my ka kept up with a stock sr.

Would you mind elaborating on this a little bit? I've never heard of anyone running a hydrogen generator before and I'm curious about how it works.

Oh, and welcome to Nico!

^^^ that's b/C it's a good photo ;) but thank you, it was taken at an abandoned gas station/ cafe in San Marcos, Texas.

Regarding the hydrogen, it's actually very much experimental. It's designed to boost fuel economy but along with a few other benefits like cleaner running engine, detonation resistance, more power and fewer emmitions. So far I'm not seeing any mpg gains but I can tell that the motor is happier when I have the system running. Some more fine tune has to be done in order to see any mpg gains... If its actually possible :)
