TMS, Float, Dee, Gabby, good to see you guys are still hanging out in here! Haven't been on in ages have the internet again so back to the infamous CA forum lol Can't say I've been having the most wonderful time while I've been gone. Care has been sitting MIA for like a really really realllllly long time which sucs because I miss turbo rwd bov ca goodness:( Redid my wiring harness because it melted, but accidently missed some wire that melted my injector dropping resistor:( SAD F"IN DAY LET ME TELL YOU I pretty much cried, it was like losing a child I swear. My neighbors promptly broke out the wine and champagne because the exhaustless car was now silent! But I am hopefully going to be rejuvenating it very soon with $800 worth of fun brake upgrades(wilwoods) and TMS please answer (or anyone for that matter) have any of you had dealings with RHDJAPAN??? (ANd TMS if I don't get my part can I give you 100,000,000 Yen to go over there and brake your foot off in the parts guys @$$ for me who forgot to ship it????) How long does it take to acquire a dropping resistor and ship it DHL to America? Thanks. How are things going with everyone(the old crew anyways lol?) Hope all is well take it easy guys(girl gabby ha ha)

RHDJapan is a reputable company, but they are infamously SLOW.

Why did you order a dropping resistor from them? You could have gotten one from a Pulsar or a DSM here in the US.

Gabby wussed out and sold her S13. But she got a G-coupe to replace it, so you can't get too upset with her.

Dee still rear's his ugly mug every now and then to keep the troops in line, but otherwise I think he just works his butt off keeping the illegals where they belong.

TMS doesn't have anything CA18 related going on AFAIK.

I FINALLY got my CA->S14 running. I posted a vid of my BRM exhaust up in here just the other day. There will be more vids of it on the dyno in the coming weeks when I finally do the turbo comparison that I've been talking about for years, LOL.

sorry to hear about your troubles. I've never dealt with that company. I can can just drive over to Nissan so I have no need to.

Ugly mug? Ugly mug, dude? At least I know you care and that's usually good enough for me . Now respect your elders and go to your room. No video games or stupid F&F joints either. ganma_ca, I'm with Ryan in the fact that RHD takes a bit of a long time when it comes to shipping. what did you order from them?

Dee

Float props on getting the S14 ca done! Thats awesome! (not 100% sure but I bet you are the only person to be rocking a cool swap like that in the S14!) Can't wait to see the vids, and thanks for the run down on whats been going on TMS you lucky a@#%$#! Must BE nice! Joking aside I really have been looking at moving to Japan some time in the near future depending on financial circumstances, and then just selling eveything I own here hoping on a plane and coming over. Not sure yet. Any idea what the job market is like there(anything automotive wise?) I know you have to have special visa's to work there and what not. I have been finding apartments for less then $600 a month in Tokyo though, so that would be ideal. (As long as Godzira doesn't come along and step on me?). Same old Dee lol Well upon going to autozone advanced and the nissan dealership here and even after suggesting parts from an 89 pulsar to each of these places I came up empty handed from all of them, and RHDJAPAN had them so I decided to order from them and figured it would be like max of 2 weeks before I get my part. It's been a week now and I still haven't received info on it actually leaving the country yet which they said they would send me an email when it did. I'm patient so whatever but I'd still like to have some idea???

The Japanese are some racist mofos with immigration laws to match. If you don't have a job lined up that gives you work visa status and the company isn't huge and stable, don't come. There are a lot of "gaijins" over here living hand-to-mouth working, if they are lucky, for chump change. You think it sucks being over there and not having a Skyline, try having them drive past you all day long and not being able to afford them.

Dang TMS sounds rough over there. I would hate to move over there and have to result to male prostitution at some Japanese Soap Land. Although I hear there are clubs probably run by the yakuza where you get paid to hang out with ladies????? No sex, just paid to hang out and get them to buy you huge bottles of sake, and then they wait to try to marry you some day? Crazy stuff over there lol. I thought maybe I will bring my fishing poll and sit on a pier in tokyo bay and market some American made sushi for like 10,000,000 yen a bite. And then maybe go to the famous drift tracks and sell low rider parts lol

Gabby and float thanks for making it painfully obvious what road I should have gone down lmao! Well 3 years from now when I get my part, I will probably have invented a CA parts line that makes the ca not require low impedence injectors lol!
