While all you guys are busy buying RHD S13's and R32's I'm gonna be smart and save up for a RHD EXA courtesy of the land down under

I'm watching for one from japan man...but they're difficult to find. I've seen 3 while watching the auctions in the last year... 2 were thrashed, the one good one was pulled before i could bid :'(

I've contemplated whether or not I want one for the monster build I have planned (mostly planned, it may never come true). As awesome as it'd be, my only real concern is having the steering shaft on that side. There already isn't any room under the intake manifold to work with there, so I'm wondering how much of an issue there would be.

After all is said and done, how much more than the price for the car does it cost to buy a car from over there, get it here, and registered?

Man, that car of yours looks really nice and clean. I understand being busy as that's my middle name. But nice to see you still in the game. I really wish I could get my car painted, but being busy is the issue (Not lacking on coin). Oh well, keep the car tight and maybe I'll get jealous and make a move

Actually Boost_boy - These are for sale... :) I have 3 other cars on their way in, but they're not Silvia's and not CA powered, hence why I didn't post em here. (2 crxs and an RX7...) I'm trying to get a business off the ground!
I will have some for me later on...(even tho i HATE to give these two gems up...)
White one has 43k miles and is bone stock, black one has 38k miles and is lightly modded. I want to keep them both. It's been such a treat to be able to drive on the right again! :)

I still have the Pulsar, and I'm trying to find a shop to help finish it....as I have zero time. Penguin is helping me out with the wireharness (from nissanexa.com).
This has made me want to finish it all the faster, cuz for my first ca18det experience...holy christ i love this motor...so much nicer than a 4g63t...

I can broker too. mdb_4879 - I think I can bring a car for around 5k usd (outside of price, covers shipping and all that nonsense to the east coast)...but we haven't really worked that out yet as we just really got our first two in, in the last few months. We're still working on website and all that silly nonsense...but I don't want to come off as some shark or whatever. I have to have my s*** wrapped tight cuz so many people have scammed on this side of things. I just want to help people get into some JDM rides. Figured my language experience could help with that! :)

I'm shipping RORO so the car has to be in running order for me to get them in. So no parts cars until I can score a container.
Also, No swapped cars, and nothing under 25 years old.
If you try to bring in a swapped car, you forfeit the federal EPA exemption. (I've been doing a lot of homework)!

The looks i get from cops is hilarious btw....
heh...

Just wait until you get pulled over at night and the walk up to the wrong side of the car with their flashlight, lol. There are quite a few people local to me who own RHD cars so I've heard a couple stories. Fast food drive thru's are pretty, too, from what I hear.

I just remembered the other reason I might not enjoy having a RHD car. Man has it gotta suck. When you get behind some grandma going half the speed limit. I wouldn't know what to do with myself, haha.

So will there be a longtimenissanexaforummember discount for your brokering?

LOL I've had that happen already, and while it's annoying, you find ways to deal with it ;)

As far as discounts go? I'm sure we can work something out ;)
Goes for members of this forum too ;) (And I mean the ca sub-forum)...haha

Sweet, I'd better start saving my pennies then! So I've never really heard much about the JDM KN13's. What major differences are there between those and the Aussie EXA?

From what I understand, the downside to the JDM one's is that they only seem to have the ca16de :/ but they had VLSD.... >:D

VLSD in an RS5F31A? Or did they mate the 51A (I guess it'd actually be an RS5F51C) to the CA16?

Ah, well ok then, lol. If this were 2009 I'd ask on nissanexa, but for some reason I don't think that'd yield the responses I'm looking for...

I want to take over and redo the site. FB groups are a s*** place to store data. I'd host it in my damn basement if i had to.

Are any of the old gurus still active on there anymore? I haven't been active on there for years, but it just doesn't seem like much is going on there anymore except for noobs asking the same things I did when I joined (when I was 15)

As far as old US guys go? Me, Vixen, Penguin, PulsarNSX, LiquidNeon, and NXEXA, are all still around.

Hmm, maybe I ought to start being active again, get to know the crowd. Although I'd really like to have my Pulsar driving again to have something to talk about, lol. How about the Aussie guys? Many of them left?
