Hey Guys!! I'm new 2 this site, and just got a pathfinder, plz help me!!!

Hello everyone, i had just got this pathfinder from my step dad, he doesnt know anything about cars, im 17 and tryin 2 learn about them now.

Are these good cars?

What can you do with them?

Its a 93, with 192,000 miles on it, wat should i do 2 it?

Its seems that my engine gets hot pretty fast, especially when I use my Air Conditionor, and i really want to make sure it doesnt get 2 hot on me lol.

Is there something that I can do/get to fix this problem??

I would start by making sure your radiator isn't plugged up and that your coolant is in decent shape. Try using an additive like redline water wetter (reduces surface tension for better heat transfer) and since you're in a warmer climate and it's summer, try using a mostly water blend of water/antifreeze.Consider doing a coolant flush.

Also, check to make sure the fan is coming on when it should.
