i have a problem, i'm worked so much on it and thought about it so much that i'm out of ideas and stressed out. to start with i put a new turbo on my car about 3 weeks ago, a power enterprise pe1420, the next week i took it to the dyno and tuned it, i put a mines ECU in that i had laying around and it took a while to get things right, that ecu really advances timing, but we got the a/f's looking good below 5k after doing a few runs and pulling back timing to get rid of alittle detonation, got that fixed and did a power pull and the clutch started to slip so we took it off the dyno and i drove it home, i didnt' touch it till a week later when i drove it to classes, it started to cut out on me and felt like it lost power, below 3k it sputters and runs like crap and wont idle like the maf is out, i put a new maf on it and it did the same thing, someone told me it may be a vacume leak but according to my boost gage it was fine, but i took all the vacume lines and hoses off and replaced them just to be sure, nothing, i had a fuel pump problem before and it acted sorta the same so i checked the pump and its fine, then i thought the bov was stuck open so i took it apart cleaned and oiled it and still the same thing . i have a z32 maf and super afc, the maf settings on the super afc are 2in 7out, but if i turn the out setting to 8, it idels fine and can drive ok, when you get on it, it makes full boost but it feels like it isn't going anywhere, its not pulling but revs fine. i really am stumped here, if anyone can suggest anything please do i'm on my last straw w/ this. it ran perfect on the way home from teh dyno and i idn't drive it till a week later when it suddonly started to act up

Maybe try cleaning off the battery terminals and checking all your grounds. Check to see if timing changed, if any plugs came undone such as injector plugs. Good luck, it sounds like you're on the ball.

the batterie is almost new and all the grounds seem to be good, already checked all the plugs, havnet checked the timming though, i'm goin to borrow a gun tomorrow and check it but i dont know how it could have moved but hey who knows, one thing stuck me odd though, like i said i replaced all the vacume lines and hoses, but when the car is idleing if i put my ear close to the intake manafold i can hear a hiss, now this could be normal, but if so i've never noticed it before, i had my idle set at 1500 cuz of my cams and now it is speratic between 500 and 800, so the engine is quieter, my boost gage reads about 16-17 but it used to run 17-18 might not be anything, but could something be wrong w/ the IAC, adjusting the idle screw does nothing now, i can put it almost all the way in and all the way out and it doesnt make a difference, alway's worked fine before, and i dont know if it would make a difference but i pulled the plug off the IAC and it didn't do anything, any thoughts on that, i had an SR20 T-25 on there before and when it took it off it had some shaft play and left a good bit of oil in the catch can and i noticed a bit in the IC pipes so there was probobly some oil going into the intake manafold, could have have messed up the IAC or something?

That sounds like a tell, the IAC I mean. The hissing may just be the fuel rushing through the lines. Or could be a leak. However, since you say the idle is lower now it shouldn't be a leak after the throttle body. Just in case, check your brake booster line, mine has blown off before, and it makes a hiss. Do you suspect it's running lean or rich? Finding that out can norrow down your problem.

well i just had the car tuned 2 weeks ago so the a/f's should be good, just messing around w/ the second map on the super afc i hace added fuel and taken it out and it didn't really make a diff, i use hose clamps on my brake booster line cuz they came off so much, haha, i checked the ECU and it flashed 55 which is normal, the thing that gets me is that above 3k it drives almost normal, but still alittle off. i'm goin to try and borrow a timing light tomorrow and see whats up, the only thing i can find anything wrong with is the the idle adjustment screw does nothing, wont raise or lower the idle at all, also does anyone a spare set of s13 e-brake lines laying around, one of mine snaped, i have to pull the e-brake all the way up and it barly holds, haha, thanks for the help guy's
