So my buddy who has a 91 base model 240sx, found a great way to get a decent looking cheap front lip on his car.

All he did was attach the lip from a 94+ Integra LS onto the front of his car. Looks pretty decent. Better than stock. Some minor cutting and custom bolting gets that sucker on there cleanly.

That is all... have fun!

I had a lip off of a 94 prelude painted to match the car color of my 94 altima. It did look good. Looked like it belonged there.

No, no pics. Although I'm thinking of doing it, only I'm much more clean about my work. He just screwed it on and sprayed it black. he has like 30+ screws holding it in. I'll do something less... destructive. I'm gonna see if any other OEM lips fit. Because I hate that gap in the front of 240's so much. It looks incomplete.

an 89 240sx SE lip looks GREAT on a stock silvia bumper:) I have a friend with one... His car has a red silvia front with a black 89 lip... If I ever get a silvia front I'll do that!

And I would LOVE a cf mold of my lip:D too bad I'm not motivated or talented enough...

thats why there are people u pay to be motivated and talented.

i dont think it would be too expensive, plus u could allways market them to people that want lips but cant find em that just complete the bottom and make up the difference

any sites or suggestions of how to do this? I have absolutely NO body work experience... I know mechanic stuff, but I'm not a body man;) would YOU know how to make a CF lip? Don't you have to bake those things? I don't have an industrial size oven to bake a front lip in...lol

hmmm, that PDM one is nice, but may hang too low for me:confused:

and i really wish they had them in urethane. i know fiberglass is repairable yada yada yada, but the last time i bought a FG lip for my miata i caught a truck tire on the hwy within a week and it literally exploded into a few hundred pieces. $260 down the drain:(

Explain what your asking more clearly? I think the answer is yes, the 89 240sx lip is the same as the 180sx lip and will fit both the stock silvia front bumper and the 91-93 240sx bumper:)

hey tell me more about this Integra lip idea, what exactly does it look like because I have the bomex front under right now, and it hangs way too low for me. the integra idea sounds sick, is it like exactly flush with the rest of the nose? I'd def be willing to try it. thanks

Get some pics man?!?!?!? Got a digi cam or a scanner, if not ask one of your friends to let you borrow theirs for a minute. I think everyone would like to see how it turned out.

NeedCAforS13, man you could bank off that front lip idea if you can find a way to make a copy, I personaly wouldnt want cf b/c I would probly paint it if I got one(I would still get a cf lip though, if thats all you had), but you should seriously look into it b/c I would be willing to pay $200+ if you find a way to duplicate it, between NICO and some of the other big 240 boards Im sure you could find plenty of people who would want one.

ohh yeah they would. The lip is flush with the 91+ noses the only discepency is that it isn't long enough on the sides to reach the beginning of the wheel wells. But since my car is black it doesn't matter anyway. ;D
