Hey I have an idea! Let me put my beer down. Rig up the fuel system out of my car, tape this white hose on here and cram this screwdriver into this.

I did my swap while getting drunk as well. And working on the car is way better when you are...shall we say "lifted". If you break something, you don't care! You just laugh, eat some junk food, and fix it. If you can remember what you were working on when you left for your Twinkie

I want more pics of that sexy new motor Ryan!

On a side note: Is Ryan as ghey in real life as he is on here? I bet you beat him up a lot hunh?

LMAO!!! Dustin, you rule man! I forgot about some of that stuff. Your commentary's were classic. Stuff for the history books I tell you!

The motor IS coming along nicely. I just got my new lightweight flywheel in the mail yesterday. Already resurfaced and everything! And do you want to know the awesome part? The weight on the ouside of the box said 13lbs! When I mailed my old one to Kevin, it said 27lbs, and that was after they had taken a few lbs off of it! So I figure the new one is probabally at least 15lbs lighter than the stock unit. Throttle response, here I come! All I need are new flywheel bolts, which I'll have this week, and new motor mounts, which my good friend Aaron is helping me with. With any luck, I'll have true NISMO CA18DET motor mounts. None of this SR/KA stuff if I can help it! After than I'm pretty much ready to drop it in. I need to replace the input bearing on the transmission, but thats no big deal. I've still got intercooler stuff to work out, but worst case senario, I can rig it back up with a FMIC for the NICO Nationals so I've at least got a car.

As for the ghey comment, well, we'll see who's car is ghey after I get this on the dyno and track. If all goes as planned, this won't be an amazing horsepower machine, but rather have a gorgous torque/horsepower curve.

I'm not bad at life!

Hey I will get you more pics after a while, but not tonight. I am in a bad mood so I am drinking some margaritas and listening to Aphex Twin.

Well, I don't think he is completely gay, however I have heard some stories His GF though is, how you say? Well...I'd pee in her butt. Maybe I can get some bikini pics of her on my bike. How bout it ryan?

*side note* His motor will be a very good street performance motor in my mind. The only thing I would have done to it, and I'm sure you agree Ryan, is throwing in some longer duration cams and possibly some valve guides to up your revs. However we all know money doesn't grow on trees. Despite having OEM cams I am sure it will still be a very compettative street brawler/autoXer.Don't waste your money buying that T3/T4 you were thinking about. Do you really need to hot-swap turbo's?

Oh oh, one more thing. Have you let the secret out about your pistons?

that was priceless. this thread made my freaking week. ive never had the pleasure of working on my car whilst "alcoholically enhanced" as im only 19 and i never work on it without my dad. now i have however turbo'd a civic while i was just trashed. little non-vtec sohc civic made 220whp! well, until the rings got fried.

i was going to make some horrible comment about ryan's gf but i can see youve already got that covered.

Somehow I don't think you'd get Trish to do a photoshoot, but we can try! She's so damn hot....

I'm thinking about buying another head off of a pulsar and going all out on it. Just throw money at it a little bit at a time. Then when it's done I'll just swap them. The bottom end is done so I shouldn't ever have to mess with that again. As for the pistons, yea, I think I let the cat out of the bag accidentally. There was a big High Compression Turbo debate going on that I HAD to chime in on.

Hey, good things happen when you throw money at stuff. Take strippers for example
