Hey everyone, new Rogue owner

Hey guys, new member here. Just wanted to say whats up and introduce mysef.

I bought a 2010 Gotham Gray Rogue SL AWD a little under a week ago and love it so far. Before this I drove a 2005 Accord coupe which was great, but with four dogs that need to be hauled around the two door didn't really cut it. I dont have huge plans for this car, but right now the list is:

Tinting (done)
Factory rear spoiler (ordered for $40!)
License plate LEDs (ordered)
Roof rack cross bars
Chrome grill insert
Pet barrier for the back
Either 6000k HIDs for the fogs to match or yellow bulbs.

And anything else that pops up down the road!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I'll have some pics as soon as I get the chance to give it a nice wash & wax. It's hard to not spend money on it right now since it's a blank slate!

LEDs sounds like a great idea. I did that in my Element. Are there any threads here for the sizes for the inside dome lights and the License plate lights?

I haven'y really looked on here, but a quick google search pulls up LED pacages for the Rogue.

I also had them on my accord. They were nice, but I'm not sure I want interior lights that are that bright again. The license plate upgrade does make a big difference though!

That was a great and easy mod (LED lights) and I feel your pain as far as trying to decide which ones to use, etc. There are a lot of types and sizes, then there are different numbers of LED's in each, etc.
Here is what I used… you can select different amounts (or colors) of LEDs per light, depending on your preference.

• Hatch - these take the 31mm festoon bulbs. I used the ones with 16 led chips on each. – two of them… http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-X-White-Dome- ... 4ab0ef14a4
• All others were wedge bulbs.

• I ordered my wireless rear view camera and when I wire that to my reverse lights, I will update the license-plate lights to LED too. I think they are also wedge bulbs, but I have some festoons left over just in case!

Awesome, thanks for the info!

Looking in to it, I realized all of the bulbs from my accord would have fit... Including my silver star turn signals and reverse lights. I left them in thinking this would have totally different bulbs though. Doh!

Does the SL come with rear bumper guard? With dogs going in and out, it might save some unsightly scratches on the bumper. Real easy self-install. It may already be on there.

Nah, Mine didn't either. Going to pick up the bumper guard and Weathertech pet barrier before the dogs are allowed to go for a ride.

Well, I ordered my Weathertech pet barrier and OEM rear bumer guard today. I'll be ready to haul the dogs pretty soon!

I'm having trouble deciding between yellow halogen or 6000k HIDs for the fogs. Don't like the glare when HIDs are in halowen housings, but they look goood! opinions?
