hey, im just curious because i started ordering parts but does an intake, or exhaust void the manufacturer warranty by any chance? sorry if this seems like a dumb question

you only run the risk of voiding the warranty if what you have done can be linked to the failure of a part. If you put on an intake, and then have problems with your intake manifold, they might give you a hard time about warrenty coverage. But if your transmission goes out, lets say, they can't really blame that on your intake.

Thats the standard rule of thumb

well lets say the intake manifold does start having problems. woiuld there be anyway to detect that there was an aftermarket intake if you replace it with the factory one?

What year is your Altima, and how many Kms left on it before the warranty runs out?Where did you buy it by the way? I bought my Nissans at Tony Graham. They've been pretty good to me.Don't ya love this snow?Go Sens Go.

YOu replace it back to stock whose to know? Long as you do good, clean work.

yeah i wouldn't worry at all about a little modding. google the Magnusson-Moss (sp?) Warranty Act.
