the 02 housing rubs my steering rack mildly , It doent effect turning or anything , i took it to the local exhaust shop and they said they wouldnt modify it because its cast iron , but they said if i got an aftermarket one they could modify that , should i say screw it and leave it alone or find away to get it to clear the steering competly , im not sure if this is safe

eventually one of the two will give out. and the motor will flex. so if it is really close when you look at it when the car isn't moving, then it's touching when the car is moving. I used custom mounts, so i didn't have the problem, but i have seen it. And anything that is going to stop you from being able to steer correctly is bad.

Mckinney has a spacer for the Cast iron 02 housing. It will clear with that. Give them a call.
