That's a great looking S110! Love the paint and the trim!

Why aren't you out there scooping it up man?

Too bad it's an auto...

I think the auto is a 3-speed, so it's craptastically slow...

let's not forget the Z series under the hood.

<---would so take one with 5 speed and LZ in it.

ahhh, memories of my '80 200SX, this one looks real good. I put almost 135k miles on mine before I sold it and bought the '84 model.

Um, I don't think they called it an LZ engine. I've only heard of the Z20 carbed, Z22E and the Z18ET which USA never got...

the LZ head from the factory backed racing days.

they used the S20's head as a template for DOHC heads for the L series.

neat stuff. White Lightning can a turbo version.

Oh, right. I remember chatting with you about that once a long time ago!

That would be more related to the S10 time period tho, I think.

you'd think that anyway...or maybe it was more Nissan's lack of interest for the Z series.

So um, they developed that after the L series was no longer in the current chassis?

FJ was originally in the S110, you're right. But they carried it over into the S12. It never had any time in the S10 shell afaik.

the only model to carry it I wanna say was the 240RS, and that was a 2.4 non turbo and carb'd version.

One of my friends in high school had one and so did her brother. They were awesome cars, fun to drive.

there were a couple on the hill behind the shop I work at. They didn't have any titles though, so I talked one of the guys into giving me a red S12 turbo that was up there. I never really had the time to mess with it, so I gave it to my buddy Adam.

Him and his dad rebuild the turbo and started it but the compression was blown. He now intends to swap a CA in it and let his wife drive it. I love the cars, but the S13 is a much better platform to modify. They lack the 80's sex though.
